I have removed the wall plug and cleaned the hole, but the hole is now slightly bigger. I still need to put a fixing in the same place, as all the other fixings are fitted. WebMay 17, 2024 · The simplest way would be to mix up a small amount of mortar, fill the hole and let it set. Then you can re-drill the hole. The only thing I would say - if whatever you're drilling the hole for is pretty heavy, I'd be tempted to fill the hole then drill a different hole an inch or so to the side, if possible.
